MATTHEW YIMET

Matthew Yimet (b. 1998) currently lives and works in the Chicagoland area. His practice employs the camera as a tool to investigate his curiosities within changing midwestern landscapes. He received a BFA degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2023. Matthew’s work has been shown at the 5th Floor Gallery, The Digs Chicago, and most recently at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis.
